It is that time again for nominations for OAEA state awards!
The following is a list of State awards. Please nominate your colleagues.
If you would like to read detailed descriptions of each category, please visit the NAEA website that list all possible awards and eligibility. Eligibility is based on current membership.
OAEA - Oregon Art Educator of the Year
OAEA - Oregon Secondary Art Educator of the Year
OAEA - Oregon Middle Level Art Educator of the Year
OAEA - Oregon Elementary Art Educator of the Year
OAEA - Oregon Higher Education Art Educator of the Year
OAEA - Rookie of the Year (teaching 3 years or less)
Retired Art Educator of the Year
Outstanding Service Outside the Profession: Individual or organization that has demonstrated significant support for art education.
Distinguished Service Within the Profession Award: To recognize outstanding achievement, contributions and service in the field of art education at the National, Division and State levels.
Marion Quinn Dix Leadership Award: To recognize outstanding contributions and service to the profession by a state association officer in the performance and or development of specific programs, goals or activities at the State level.
Outstanding National Art Honor Society Sponsor Award
Nominations must include:
1. Award category
2. Name of nominee
3. School in which they teach
4. Nominee's current email address
5. Years / level /subjects the nominee teaches
6. A paragraph or two on why he/she would be an excellent award recipient.
7. Your email information.
