Ovation Arts Education Toolkit Resource

Ovation’s Arts Ed Toolkit announces its newest educational materials, including streaming program clips and downloadable, standards-based lessons.  These free materials are suitable for grades 9-12 and include video clips of documentaries, films and complementary curriculum units.  Users must create an account, but it is free.  Upcoming lessons explore paintings by Austrian artist Gustav Klimt; Chopin’s life, work, and musical influences; and works by Jackson Pollock, Norman Rockwell, Shelby Lee Adams, Michael Heizer; and the connections between painting, poetry, and architecture.  Educators can log onto this site  to access resources.
